To help us get a quorum in these COVID times, First Reformed held its annual congregational meeting on the morning of December 6, instead of the usual evening. We met in the fellowship hall around tables and approved a 2021 budget of $184,944.12, which was about $2,000 less than the previous year's budget.

Also chosen as new leaders for next year's consistory were Gene Bjorklund as elder and Sako Vandermeer as deacon. Those going off consistory are elder Dean Vander Wal (who has served as the VP of consistory and chair of the Congregational Life Task Force) and deacon Ron Knutson (who has served as the chair of deacons and chair of the Buildings and Grounds Task Force).
